Joyful Fruit-Forward Belle Meade Winery Wedding
This Belle Meade Winery wedding was a reminder that the most memorable celebrations are more than perfect styling and beautiful details. They feel intentional and deeply personal.
Chloe and Jackson filled their day with thoughtful details that reflected who they are—from vintage silver collected by family members to their favorite wood-fired pizza served fresh from the oven. Every choice felt purposeful, creating a celebration that was relaxed, joyful, and entirely their own.
My floral design followed that same philosophy, bringing together rich color, sculptural design, and unexpected ingredients to create an atmosphere that felt artistic but unpretentious.
Inspired by fruit, the color palette consisted of shades of plum, mauve, raspberry, maroon, and blush, with pops of chartreuse green and white. The arrangements themselves embraced a more architectural approach. Minimal ikebana-inspired designs were paired with vintage silver coupe glasses, while fresh fruit—including grapes, pears, plums, mangoes, and tomatillos I sourced from Nashville's international markets—added texture, color, and an unexpected layer of storytelling throughout the reception. Together, the florals and fruit created tables that felt collected, playful, and effortlessly elegant.
For the ceremony focal point, I created a single statement arrangement that overflowed from the property's iconic stone urn. Cascading tulips and calla lilies softened the architecture of the space and echoed the movement and color found throughout the rest of the day. Rather than filling every corner with flowers, each design element was intentionally placed, allowing every arrangement to make an impact.
Wedding days like Chloe and Jackson’s prove the most meaningful celebrations aren't built around trends—they're built around people. When every design decision reflects a couple's story, the result is a wedding that feels timeless, personal, and impossible to mistake for anyone else's.
